Refund Policy

Bookings on RequestGG are final, with a few exceptions: if a creator doesn't show up, if they don't deliver insurance you paid for, or if a tournament never runs, you get a refund.

When you're eligible for a refund

The creator no-showed. You can request a full refund if the creator fails to show up to a confirmed session. For example, they never join the lobby or the RequestGG Discord voice call at the booked time.

You bought insurance and didn't get the games. On a tournament session, insurance guarantees you a minimum number of games. If you were knocked out early and the creator didn't play the extra casual games to make up the difference, we refund what you paid for the insurance. This applies even though the creator showed up.

The tournament never ran. Tournament times are set by the game publisher, not by us or the creator. If the tournament is cancelled, rescheduled, or doesn't run in the listed region, nobody is at fault and you get a full refund, including any insurance.

When refunds aren't available

  • You change your mind or can no longer attend.
  • You don't show up to the session yourself.
  • You're unhappy with how a session went (that's what reviews are for), provided the creator showed up.
  • You got knocked out of a tournament early. How far you get isn't something anyone controls, and it isn't a refund reason on its own.
  • You bought insurance and went deep enough that no extra games were owed. Insurance buys a guaranteed minimum, and playing that many games in the tournament itself satisfies it.

Creators reserve the time for your session, so a completed or fan-missed session isn't refundable.

How to request a refund

Within 48 hours of the session, go to My bookings, find the session, and select Report no-show. Tell us briefly what happened. Use the same form for undelivered insurance games or a tournament that never ran, and say which it was. Our team reviews every request by hand.

After you request

If approved, the refund goes back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. A no-show or a tournament that never ran is refunded in full; undelivered insurance refunds the insurance portion only, since the tournament itself still happened. If we can't confirm what you reported, we'll let you know by email and the booking stands.
